The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree — the presence of a happy family and a mouth-watering spread of a vegetarian Christmas menu.
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar or organic turbinado sugar
½ cup carob chips
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
1 cup cold water
1. Sift the flour and baking soda together. Add carob chips to it.
2.In a bowl combine sugar, olive oil, vanilla essence, white distilled vinegar and cold water.
3. Add this mixture to the flour. Do not over mix.
4. Pour into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degree for 30 minutes.
5. Cool completely and slice into pieces
